Humanitas Foundation e. V. is an independent German non-profit organisation founded in 2002 by Dr. Walter Lipke and guided by his German family. For more than two decades, the Foundation has worked to improve the lives of people in need through practical humanitarian assistance, education, healthcare support and sustainable community development.
Our work began in Europe and Africa, where we have supported families, children, orphans, people with disabilities and disadvantaged communities. Today, Humanitas Foundation e. V. is also preparing to expand its humanitarian engagement into Asia, beginning with Sri Lanka.
Our guiding principle is simple: Helping People to Help Themselves. We believe that sustainable change is created when people receive the knowledge, opportunities and practical support they need to build independent and dignified lives.
Under the continuing leadership of founder Dr. Walter Lipke and his family, Humanitas Foundation e. V. Germany remains committed to compassion, personal responsibility and long-term solutions. Our mission is to connect people across cultures and countries and to turn solidarity into meaningful action.
