As a registered German non-profit organisation established in 2002, we are committed to maintaining clear organisational structures, responsible financial management and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Humanitas Foundation e. V. is registered in Germany and operates as a non-profit organisation. Our charitable mission is focused on humanitarian assistance, education, health awareness, community development and sustainable self-help initiatives.

Our legal and organisational status provides the framework within which our projects, partnerships and humanitarian activities are managed.

Governance and Responsibility

The Foundation is guided by a clearly defined board structure. The current board consists of Dr. Walter Lipke as Chairman, Ruth Lipke as Deputy Chairwoman and Samuel Lipke as Treasurer.

The board is responsible for maintaining the Foundation’s mission, overseeing its activities and ensuring that organisational decisions remain consistent with its charitable purpose.

Responsible Financial Stewardship

Humanitas Foundation e. V. has historically been financed primarily through private contributions made by the founding family. This family-supported structure has enabled the Foundation to pursue its humanitarian mission independently and with a long-term perspective.

Our objective is to ensure that available resources are used responsibly, carefully and effectively. Financial decisions should directly support the Foundation’s charitable work and create meaningful benefits for the people and communities involved.

Records and Reports

Humanitas Foundation e. V. maintains organisational and financial documentation relevant to its activities. This may include annual reports, activity reports, financial records and documentation connected with regulatory reviews.

Where appropriate, selected reports, project information and summaries may be made available to partners, supporters or the public. Transparency must always be balanced with legal obligations, data protection and the privacy of the individuals and communities we support.

Compliance

Humanitas Foundation e. V. has maintained its charitable status under German law since its establishment in 2002. We remain committed to operating in accordance with applicable legal, administrative and regulatory requirements.

Compliance is not only a formal responsibility. It helps protect the Foundation, its partners, its beneficiaries and the integrity of its humanitarian mission.
